Sosolo is an online fashion store selling women's clothing, jewellery and accessories.
The company was founded in 2010 by London based family - Sinnie, Kit, Kelly and Connie Chong.
The story...
We live in East London, just a stone's throw away from the lively areas of Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Dalston, where you will find diverse crowds of people with an eclectic set of fashion styles. These creative and stylish twentysomethings wear whatever they want, no matter how crazy or out-landish the outfit is, and still manage to look interesting whilst oozing an edgy, cool vibe. We wanted to set up our own online fashion store inspired by these hipsters and offer to you a collection of East London.
We're hand-picking the best vintage clothes around, and offering an eclectic range of one-off items. Our new clothing is stocked in limited amounts so that we can constantly refresh the store and present to you the latest fashionable items. Not only that, we're collaborating with new designers, selling their collections and offering you something a little different that you won't find everywhere.
With our vintage range, we like to style our retro items with a modern twist. Hipsters like to wear something that has been around for decades and pair it up with new clothes and accessories. Our style is to mix and match and wear what feels comfortable for us. There are so many vintage shops now that it can be hard to find that hidden gem, so we do all the hard work for you and pick out the best garments and deliver to your door.
We are also constantly on the lookout for new designers. We support grass-roots fashion by offering up-and-coming new designers the opportunity and platform to sell their fabulous collections and gaining some exposure. We welcome all new designers and love to help sell their fabulous clothes and accessories in our store.

About Sinnie
When people ask me what I do for a living I automatically respond with 'Graphic Designer' but that really is only a small part of who I am and what I do. Even though I come from a Graphic Design background, I consider myself a fashion lover at heart. I've been based in East London for the past six years and over that period time I have always contemplated and dreamed of living in a different city such as New York or Berlin, but after visiting those places I don't think there is anywhere other than East London that I would rather call home.
East London is always ahead of the game, a trendsetter of trends (and fashion). There is never a shortage of inspiration here – I love to chill at coffee shops (I love coffee!) and people-watch as you can get some of the craziest characters and styles residing in East. I love exploring and finding new coffee shops and cafes – there's always a new one popping up somewhere in East London! The same goes for bars/clubs – the hipsters of East LDN are always ready for the next 'new place to be seen at'. Some of my current fav hangouts is Birthdays and Ridley Road Market Bar :)
About Kit
I've lived in East London for many years now and I have so many great memories from the days of studying at Queen Mary University to going out to local bars, clubs and restaurants. I even had my stag do at Cargo, a cool music venue with a garden.
I'm an entrepreneur at heart and I always wanted to have my own business. When I was a kid, my parents started and ran a fish and chip shop and it's made me appreciate the value of a family-run business. I hope to follow my parent' footsteps and make Sosolo a success.
I'm no expert in women's fashion, but I do know for a fact that someone can be individual by what they wear. There is a confidence that you see when someone knows they are stylish. Sosolo is something that came from just a simple idea and the more I learn about fashion the more I want to succeed in this industry.
